Please review the following policies for all online sessions, and/or courses with Strategic English.

When you purchase 1:1 sessions, small group sessions, online and/programmes from Strategic English Ltd, you agree to the following policies.

Purchasing Classes

All Paid Services are to be paid in advance. 

Sessions, courses, and programmes sessions can be purchased directly at www.strategic-english.com. Invoices may also be emailed directly upon request. 

All payments may be made via online only. You may use a bank account or a credit/debit card to make payments. Strategic English cannot accept checks or transfers.

Please note that your payment authorizes only one person to access and participate in the Paid Service. The only exception where only two people may access and participate is in the “Professional English 1:2“, which is aimed to be a session with me and two partners.  Sharing any content with others or publishing it is strictly prohibited. Should you share your access with another person, your access to the Paid Services and all its material may be immediately revoked for violating these policies.

Student/Customer Responsibility

It is the student/customer’s responsibility to provide accurate contact details to ensure communication with Strategic English Ltd. 

Paid Services updates and important information are sent by email.

When you choose to purchase from and study with Strategic English Ltd, it means you accept our Terms of Service & Disclaimer.

Scheduling Sessions

All sessions are scheduled via an online calendar. 

It is the student/customer’s responsibility to make sure the selected time zone is correct for accurate session times. 

When you schedule your session, you will receive a confirmation via email.

Cancelling or Rescheduling Sessions

1:1 Sessions and 1:2 sessions:

If you cancel or ask to reschedule with at least 24 hours notice, you will receive credit for a future session.

If you cancel or ask to reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, you will NOT receive a refund and the class will NOT be rescheduled. 

If you do not show up for your scheduled session, you will NOT receive a refund.

Sessions and service packs will not be rescheduled after 3 months of purchase.

Small Group Sessions:

If you need to cancel or reschedule a small group session, it is your responsibility to cancel or reschedule as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in missing the session and no refunds will be given. There will be a minimum of 3 students/customers to schedule a group session.

Late Arrival

Lessons are to start on time. Strategic English cannot refund or make-up lost time due to student/customer’s late arrival or technical difficulties.

1:1 sessions and 1:2 sessions:

Always inform Strategic English if you will be late. If you are late for a class without notice, Strategic English will wait and keep the class open for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, the session will be closed and you will NOT receive a refund or the opportunity to reschedule.

Small Group sessions

Always inform Strategic English if you will be late. The session may be locked after 10 minutes, which means you will not be able to join if you are more than 10 minutes late.

While this is not likely to happen with small groups, if no students arrive within the first 5-10 minutes and there are no notifications about late arrivals, the session may be closed. This session will not be rescheduled.

Refunds

1:1 and group sessions. Strategic English does not issue refunds for sessions that have already been completed.

All downloadable materials, courses, programmes and/or services cannot be refunded.

Service packs will not be refunded after one or more sessions have been completed.

Service packs with none of its sessions completed will not be refunded after 3 months of purchasing.

Your language strategist needs to reschedule

In the event that your Language Strategist cannot meet at the scheduled time, 24 hours notice will be given, unless unable to do so. 

Both parties will try to reschedule the earliest time, which is mutually convenient for both student/customer and the Language Strategist. If no reschedule is agreed upon, fees paid are usable for future lessons.

Recording Sessions

Your Language Strategist will record your session and share a private link with you if you wish so. These recorded sessions are not be shared with anyone else. No other recording of the lesson may be done, by either party.

Copyright and Use of Materials

Copyright of session material: all sessions provided by Strategic English are the property of Strategic English Ltd solely, and may not be re-used or distributed in any way unless written consent from Strategic English has been given.

All content and materials are for authorized personal use only. Unauthorized use and sharing are strictly prohibited. 

Session times and materials may not be shared with others and are the property of Strategic English.
